My 5 Top Relationship Tips to Survive

I come across a lot of my friends who ask very similar questions, in their troubled relationships. Both men and women, equally so these issues really are common to us all. So what are they? A lack of understanding would certainly be the first. The solution is plainly obviously, yet for many is challenging to implement. Consider we all come from vastly different backgrounds which all influence our behaviour as well as actions. So communication and the way we carry it out needs to be considered, on both sides. When we get into an argument, the situation usually lowers itself into a very toxic and unpleasant environment . I'm sure you've all been there and know what I'm talking. It's stifling. It's depressing. It's horrible. We need to better recognize when it devolves to this level and both work our way back to the top. The alternative is simply an end to what was once cherished and beautiful Ask honest and open ended questions. Yep, don't b...

The Fascination of the G-Spot

I was checking out the google statistics on the GeekandJock.com site the other day. Mainly to determine what was being searched for the most or the major articles being viewed. To just give more of the same. What I found really interesting was the highest hit page revolved around male and female gspots and more interesting is its also the post with the smallest comment intersection. Two things though: I've already written an upcoming post on the male gspot which is missing from that particular article as well as a more comprehensive downloadable guide to both spots. And the second thing is I need to discover why people are so timid in commenting when it comes to sex or their own sexuality. Interesting. Maybe society is the real culprit like I wrote on about women ? Thoughts?

This looks just plain sad I remember when going out on a date was about discovering the other person. Through talking....remember that? I saw this picture float by the other day and it's true. I see this scene played out everywhere. Each is more interested in posting their 'out on a date' status update than actually updating themselves with who the other person is. Freaking sad if you ask me. What's your thoughts on dating and smartphones ?

Is Love Really Worth the Effort?

As a relationship counsellor, I often get asked whether the effort people are putting into their failing relationship is worth it. Without question, the answer I give is always a resounding YES! it is. We're human beings and that means we're also made to live with another. It allows us to get a balanced view on our perspectives and the views we have on the world. In a recent article I wrote on a male's viewpoint on women , a single guy usually has an unbalanced view, typically as men are casting their eyes around to see if they can do better. Better than what they've already got. Unfortunately, what they have is usually always the better option. What do you think?
